Yoga Restorative Weekend

Kate Peppard will lead a restorative weekend of yoga to put those winter blues behind you.

What can you expect? Restorative yoga, vinyasa yoga (both slow and vigorous flow will be offered), opportunity for time in nature, access to a sauna and hot tub, a chance to read books by the fire, some space to clear your mind with meditation, comfortable rooms, delicious and healthy food, and a funny dog named Tito who will join you for walks and never minds demonstrating adho mukha swanasana (downward dog). Massages and a class with a local herbalist are two items you can add to your weekend to make it really special.

Some more information on the yoga being offered:

Restorative Yoga: lots of props, and gentle postures.  This takes place almost entirely on the floor and is a very quiet and “soft” yoga, which will leave you feeling very relaxed and meditative.  This stretches your body, but in a more subtle way.

Vinyasa: this is a “flow” style yoga where we will move and get the body warmed up, stretched out, and maybe worked out, too.  Kate leads a smooth class that is open to all levels whether you are a beginner or well into your practice you will have a rewarding session.
