Abbott’s Glen Pond
Fall foliage is starting to peak, so head yourself north to Abbott’s Glen for a fabulous Fall foliage harvest dinner dance on Saturday night September 30.
There is no place more beautiful than Vermont in autumn. Why not make Abbott’s Glen your weekend destination. Friday evening wood fired pizza is served in a casual manner over in the Carriage house. You can count on a crackling wood fire, and some like minded naturists, to start your weekend of relaxation. After dinner, how about a game of billiards? Or maybe you want to relax by the fire with a beverage. Perhaps the hot tub or Finnish sauna is where you wish to wind down your day! Join us for this Fall foliage harvest dinner dance.
Saturday morning you can look forward to a country breakfast prepared by chef Amy. How about a plateful of homemade crepes filled with glazed apples & topped with toasted walnuts and Abbott’s Glen maple syrup.
Enjoy your day here at the inn , walking down to the river or sit by the pond in an Adirondak chair & start a book. Our area has many neat shoppes & restaurants to explore, along with many country roads perfect for picture taking. And don’t forget all those farm stands brimming with fall squashes, fresh cider and baskets full of pumpkins & apples. A perfect time to fill up your car with Vermont products.
Saturday afternoon, enjoy a Vermont cheese & cider tasting from 5 ~ 6, in the Carriage house while a fire crackles in the back ground. Dinner will be served in the Meadow House dining room, reflecting all the seasons fruits & vegetables as well as locally raised meat & a fabulous autumn dessert. Following dinner, head over to Club Sugar Shack for a night of dancing to DJ Lindys tunes, a fun mix of old & new music.
