Columbus day weekend is a perfect time to visit Abbott’s Glen for our Columbus day weekend fall foliage harvest dinner dance.
The foliage in Vermont is legendary. October is a time when color is at it’s peak. Harvest filled farm stands beckon you to stop & fill your car with pumpkins, apples & colorful gourds & winter squashes. Abbott’s Glen will be preparing 3 nights of autumn inspired dinners, starting Friday night with wood fired pizza, in the Carriage house. A crackling wood fire & music will create an casual night of dining & meeting other naturists. So come visit for our annual Columbus day weekend fall foliage harvest dinner dance .
Saturday night, we host a Vermont chees & cider tasting from 5 ~ 6. A harvest dinner will follow in the Meadow House dining room with candle light & music. Chef Amy finds inspiration from the inn garden & the season itself. One weekend you might find a home made butternut squash ravioli, napped with a fried sage brown butter, followed by maple glazed organic pork roast and dessert a homey apple pear crisp with home made ice cream. Now head across the driveway to Club Sugarshack and let your hair down.
Breakfast at the inn is also a memorable meal including freshly baked pastry, local eggs & breakfast meats, the best cup of joe in southern Vermont.
Saturday night head to Club Sugar Shack for a lively game of pool, dance it up with DJ Lindy, or sit enjoy the warmth from the wood stove.
Yoga class is offered on Saturday morning with Kate. Massage services are available by appointment.
